I can see how it could be read that way. I didn't happen to interpret it in that manner, but that's my own particular set of filters. I read the whole thing as a "yakno, this race shit is just stupid, so let's call it like it is." With a dollop of pointing up hipocrisy.
My own opinion? If the US elects McCain, they country is populated by a Moronic Majority and deserves what it gets.
