It seemed pretty good to me! The menu is pretty limited -- burgers, and more burgers -- and I didn't eat anything, so it's hard for me to comment on the food. But we were able to get a plenty-big table, and had no trouble hearing each other (one of my major complaints with many restaurants). The funny thing was the obvious neighborhood feel to the place: When we walked in, every head turned and stared, I assume to figure out if they knew us. Others in our party had the same experience.
So, not ideal, but a valid candidate. I think it's still worth checking out your idea too.
