mmerriamI just hacked out a major sub-plot, ripping it from the manuscript and tossing it on the butcher block, where I took my axe and chopped it into component parts. Some of those component pieces will be tossed back into the mix of the manuscript to stew and simmer. Other pieces will be stuffed down the garbage disposal and spoken of no more.
